Mr. Charuhas Joshi, a Mountaineer and Corporate Trainer with Ms. Swati Salunkhe in two episodes discuss about how he discovered his interest in Mountaineering and also various aspects involved in the field. Charuhas Joshi, with a varied and extensive experience in Rock Climbing and Mountaineering in Himalayas, is one of the most respected Mountaineers in India. Currently associated as Professor In charge of Experiential Learning with ‘Welingkar Institute of Management’, the only Business School in India conducting such programs. Charuhas conducts various Outdoor Management Development Programs aimed at giving managers first hand training in the sphere of team building, leadership & personality development. With an experience of (200 Programs done) such programs behind him, he is the one of most sought after facilitators for OMDPs. As a facilitator he has handled a range of participants, right from junior to top managers of various organizations including some of the Fortune 500 companies. He talks about the skills that one need to develop like planning, risk taking and technical skills other than physical fitness. He also mentions that there is a lot of risk involved in the field. He also enlightens us with how mountaineering can be clubbed with fields like education, development and corporate field. There is an earning source in the field but after achieving some kind of stability. Physical, mental, and emotional fitness are required to be in the field apart from passion.
