About CBSE Board

Ms. Swati Salunkhe speaks about CBSE – Central Board of Secondary Education. There has more than 9000 CBSE schools in India and has a global presence. It conducts the all India secondary school exam in 10th and all India Senior school certificate exams in 12th. The academic year begins in June and ends in April. The medium of instructions in English and Hindi. Passing marks is 33% in each subject. Assessment is done in the form of Unit test and semester. The subjects offered are English, Hindi, Science, Social Science, Entrepreneurship, Economics etc. There are lots of co-curricular and extracurricular activities in the CBSE School. The CBSE curriculum helps students to prepare for the competitive entrance exams for Engineering and Medicine.
